Job Summary The Zonal Product Agronomist at Vylor provides expert agronomic support and product knowledge to growers, sales teams, and dealers within a defined zone to optimize product placement, performance, and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on maximizing the value of Pioneer® brand products through in-depth technical understanding and field-level application.

Job Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary agronomic and product technical expert for Pioneer® brand products within an assigned geographical zone.
- Conduct field trials, demonstrations, and product evaluations to assess performance, identify key product characteristics, and gather data for product positioning.
- Provide agronomic training and technical support to district sales leaders, sales representatives, and dealers on product features, benefits, and best management practices.
- Develop and deliver presentations on product performance, agronomic insights, and competitive comparisons to grower groups, industry events, and internal teams.
- Investigate and diagnose crop production issues, offering solutions and recommendations related to Pioneer® products and overall agronomic practices.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to provide feedback on product performance and identify future product needs and opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive products, and regional agronomic challenges to inform product strategies and sales approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key growers, agricultural influencers, and industry professionals.




- Document and report on field observations, trial results, and customer feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and agricultural regulations.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, or a related agricultural field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agronomy, sales support, technical service, or a related role within the agricultural industry.
- Proven expertise in row crop production systems, including corn and soybeans, specific to the assigned zone's agricultural practices.
- Strong understanding of crop protection products, soil fertility, plant physiology, and integrated pest management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct field research, analyze data, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Proficiency in using agricultural software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
- Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced, dynamic environment.
