The Opportunity

(Hybrid / WFH)

We are looking for a passionate Full-Time VLSI Mentor to guide learners through foundational to advanced concepts in Very Large Scale Integration. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between academic theory and industry readiness, helping students build portfolios that stand out to top-tier semiconductor companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Training Sessions: Conduct interactive sessions on HDL programming, RTL design, and ASIC/FPGA flows.
- Project Mentorship: Guide students through 10+ live projects and a final Capstone project using our SmartLabs.
- Curriculum Updates: Ensure lesson plans and projects remain aligned with industry practices, covering topics like Low Power Design, DFT, and IP integration.
- Hands-on Support: Help learners master EDA tools such as ModelSim, Vivado, and Questa in a virtual environment.
- Career Readiness: Conduct mock interviews and review technical portfolios to prepare students for roles like RTL Design or Verification Engineer.

Skills and Expertise Required





Technical Skills

- Digital Logic Design: Deep understanding of logic gates, FSMs, and combinational/sequential circuits.
- HDL Programming: Expertise in Verilog syntax, simulation flow, and RTL coding best practices.
- FPGA & ASIC Flow: Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado workflows, synthesis, and the complete RTL-to-GDSII flow.
- Verification Methods: Knowledge of UVM, assertions, and functional simulation using Questa.
- Specialized VLSI Topics: Familiarity with DFT (Scan Chain, ATPG), Low Power Design, and IP Integration (AXI, I2C, SPI).
- Automation: Proficiency in Shell and Tcl scripting for EDA tool automation.

Soft Skills

- Robust ability to simplify complex hardware engineering concepts.
- Passion for teaching and outcome-driven mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills for live masterclasses and doubt-solving sessions.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in VLSI design, verification, or related fields.
- Teaching or training experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 INR per Month
