Role Description The Video Editor will work full time in office at Vinex IAS Academy and Degree College in Visakhapatnam. This role involves editing lectures, promotional videos, and educational content for digital and social media platforms. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and optimizing videos for clarity and engagement.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with faculty and the marketing team to plan visual storytelling, incorporate motion graphics and titles, and ensure all content aligns with the academy’s brand and academic objectives.



The role also includes basic file management, version control, and preparing final outputs in required formats and resolutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for educational and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and sound cleanup for clear instructional videos.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and staff and communicate ideas clearly.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Multimedia, Film, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
