Role Description The Video Editor role at Madmade Media is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves editing raw footage into polished videos, selecting and arranging clips, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio to create compelling visual stories.

The Video

Editor will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and designers to understand project objectives, maintain brand consistency, and meet deadlines. Daily responsibilities include applying color grading, working with motion graphics and visual elements, exporting deliverables in required formats, and organizing media assets for efficient workflow. The role also involves providing creative input, troubleshooting technical issues, and continuously refining edits based on feedback.

What you'll do





- Edit raw footage into highly engaging short-form content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Maintain a deep focus on creating quick, compelling narratives that engage viewers instantly, making each video both captivating and shareable.
- Edit reels, brand films, ads, etc for our clients.
- Work closely with creative leads, content managers, and team members to ensure alignment with branding and content strategy.
- Create and incorporate motion graphics elements to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Utilize various AI tools to streamline editing processes and enhance creativity.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align videos with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in social media content and video editing techniques.
- Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times while ensuring high quality.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- Creative eye for animation, timing, and storytelling
- 1-2 years of experience in video design or motion graphics (freshers with strong portfolios encouraged)
- Strong understanding of color theory and experience with color correction/grading workflows.
- Experience with audio syncing, sound design, and basic mixing.
