We are privately held and founder led. We are now building a stronger Finance function to support the next phase of our growth - and this role is central to building the cost, pricing, and profitability discipline that helps the business scale well.

Role Overview
We are looking for an accomplished and hands-on Vice President – Finance to lead the organization’s global Finance function and act as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team.
The role will be responsible for strengthening financial governance, improving cash flow and working capital, driving profitability, establishing scalable financial processes and systems, and providing actionable financial insights to support business growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in global finance, FP&A;, treasury, commercial finance, controllership, taxation, compliance, business partnering and finance transformation, along with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Experience supporting IPO readiness and public-company governance will be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
Global Finance Leadership & Governance
- Lead the end-to-end Finance function across multiple legal entities and international geographies.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation.
- Strengthen financial governance, accounting practices, internal controls and financial policies across the organization.
- Drive faster and more disciplined month-end closure, management analysis and business review processes.
- Establish scalable Finance processes capable of supporting continued organizational growth.
Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Performance
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
- Establish forward-looking financial and operational metrics to enable early identification of business risks and opportunities.
- Analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts and drive appropriate corrective actions.
- Develop strong visibility into profitability across business lines, clients, services and operating locations.
- Partner with business leaders to understand key revenue and cost drivers and improve overall financial performance.
Profitability, Pricing & Commercial Finance
- Drive initiatives focused on revenue maximization, cost optimization and margin improvement.
- Analyze pricing, labour costs, delivery costs and other operating drivers to improve unit economics.
- Review commercial agreements and financial terms to protect margins and minimize revenue leakage.
- Support pricing decisions, contract negotiations,
investment proposals and business cases.
- Identify underperforming areas and work with leadership to implement corrective actions.
Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Lead treasury, liquidity and cash management across the organization.
- Establish and manage a robust rolling cash-flow forecasting framework.
- Optimize deployment of surplus cash while maintaining appropriate liquidity and risk controls.
- Strengthen accounts receivable, collections and credit-management processes.
- Drive improvements in working capital, cash conversion and DSO.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
IPO Readiness & Capital Markets
- Support the organization in developing IPO/public-listing readiness, including strengthening financial reporting, governance, internal controls, compliance and audit preparedness.
- Coordinate, as required, with investment/merchant bankers, auditors, legal advisors and other external stakeholders involved in capital-market initiatives.
- Support financial due diligence, investor reporting and preparation of financial information required for potential fundraising or listing initiatives.
- Help establish finance processes and governance standards appropriate for a future public-company environment.
M&A;, Corporate Development & Expansion
- Support evaluation of potential acquisitions, investments and other strategic opportunities.
- Participate in financial due diligence, valuation, financial modelling and transaction assessment.
- Provide Finance leadership for expansion into new geographies, including entity structuring, financial feasibility, banking and administrative setup.
- Support integration and financial governance requirements arising from acquisitions or business expansion.
Taxation, Compliance & Risk Management
- Drive tax efficiency while maintaining compliance across applicable jurisdictions.
- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing and intercompany financial arrangements.
- Strengthen enterprise-wide financial risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Manage relationships with statutory auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other professional firms.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls and governance across business operations.
Finance Systems & Transformation
- Drive implementation and optimization of ERP/accounting platforms and financial systems.
- Leverage technology, automation and analytics to improve Finance productivity, reporting accuracy and decision-making.
- Establish standardized processes and controls across entities and locations.
- Partner with business and technology teams to identify systems and tools required to support organizational scale.
Shared Services & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Support the development of a scalable shared-services operating model across Finance and other corporate support functions.
- Provide financial oversight and business partnership for areas such as IT, HR, administration and other shared services.
- Evaluate investments in enterprise systems, infrastructure, benefits and other corporate programs from a financial and business perspective.
- Establish appropriate service metrics, controls and cost-efficiency measures.
Board & Executive Reporting
- Prepare high-quality financial and business-performance presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, risks, opportunities and recommended actions clearly.
- Act as a trusted Finance advisor on profitability, cash flow, working capital, investments, CapEx, cost optimization and strategic initiatives.
Finance Organization & People Leadership
- Build, lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance organization.
- Establish clear accountability, KPIs and performance standards across Finance.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen Finance capabilities as the organization scales.
- Participate in critical hiring and organizational-development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 18+ years of progressive Finance experience, including substantial experience in senior Finance leadership positions.
- Experience managing Finance across multiple entities, countries and regulatory environments.
- Experience in IT/ITeS, technology-enabled services, professional services, BPO or other service-oriented businesses is preferred.
- Strong experience across controllership, FP&A;, treasury, cash flow, working capital, taxation, commercial finance, audit, compliance and financial governance.
- Demonstrated ability to improve profitability, pricing, margins and cost structures through financial and operational analysis.
- Exposure to IPO readiness, capital markets, listed-company governance or public-company reporting is highly desirable.
- Experience in M&A;, due diligence, corporate development, fundraising or strategic investments will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing, international taxation and multi-entity financial structures.
- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP/accounting platforms; exposure to Sage or similar systems would be advantageous.
- Proven experience building and leading sizeable Finance teams.
- Strong analytical orientation with the ability to convert complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with Boards, senior leadership, auditors, bankers, investors and professional advisors.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail, ownership and execution discipline.
Working Hours The standard working hours for this role will be 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST. Given the global scope of the position, the incumbent should be comfortable with flexibility in working hours to accommodate meetings and business requirements across different geographies and time zones.
