Applicants will be joining a mission-driven team that contributes directly to impactful educational content and outreach.
Role Description The Video Editing Intern will support EduAdvice™ in creating and refining video content for digital platforms, including news updates, podcasts, interviews, and educational features. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, editing videos to align with brand guidelines, adding motion graphics and basic visual elements, and assisting with color grading to enhance overall quality.
The intern will collaborate with the content and social media teams to repurpose written and audio material into engaging video formats, and help optimize videos for various channels.
This is an internship role and is fully remote, offering flexible collaboration with team members across locations.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with Video Production and Video Editing tools to create explicit, engaging content.
- Skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and professional visual quality.
- Experience or familiarity with Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital content best practices for video.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment and receiving constructive feedback.
- Pursuing or recently completed studies in media, film, communications, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is an advantage.
