Role Description The US Transportation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, focused on coordinating and overseeing transportation-related activities for US-based clients. In this position, the specialist monitors shipment schedules, tracks deliveries, and ensures transportation plans align with client requirements and service-level expectations. The role involves communicating with carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues, manage exceptions, and keep stakeholders informed.





The specialist reviews transportation data, identifies process gaps, and supports improvements in routing, cost management, and service quality. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, updating transportation management systems, and providing responsive customer service to address inquiries or escalations.

Qualifications

- Strong Transportation Planning and Transportation Management skills to coordinate routes, schedules, and carrier performance.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, carriers, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret transportation data, assess performance metrics, and support process improvements.
- Familiarity with logistics or supply chain operations, including basic understanding of US transportation regulations and practices.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and transportation or ERP systems; comfort working with data and reports.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mohali district, manage priorities in a fast-paced workplace, and maintain attention to detail.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field; prior experience in a transportation or operations role is an advantage.
