Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves advising clients on travel options, designing customized itineraries, and managing end-to-end travel arrangements including transportation, accommodation, and activities.

The Travel

Consultant will handle reservations, respond to inquiries, and provide high-quality customer service before, during, and after trips. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering client requirements, offering destination suggestions, coordinating with travel vendors, resolving booking issues, and maintaining accurate records in travel management systems.



The role also includes staying current on travel trends, policies, and regulations to ensure safe, well-informed recommendations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Travel Consulting and Travel Management skills, with experience advising clients and coordinating complete trip plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights, accommodations, tours, and related services.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle concerns, and build long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of major travel booking platforms, GDS or online reservation systems, and basic travel regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in itineraries and records.
- Proficiency in English; additional regional or foreign languages are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tourism-related role is preferred; a diploma or degree in Travel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
