Role Description The Trade Finance Officer (Fresher) will support the trade finance team in handling day-to-day operations related to international and domestic trade transactions. This full time hybrid role is based in Pune City, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities include assisting in processing trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, compiling and verifying trade documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.



The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and preparing basic reports to support trade operations and risk management.

The Trade Finance

Officer will be expected to learn and apply relevant trade finance rules and standards while developing professional expertise in financial services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in finance and trade operations, including an interest in trading-related activities.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of letters of credit and standard trade finance practices, with exposure to UCP 600 being an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and interact with clients and partners.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, economics, or a related field is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to learn financial software and digital platforms will be beneficial.
- A willingness to learn, adapt to hybrid work arrangements, and build a career in trade finance within a multidisciplinary financial services setting is expected.
