. 1. Strong ServiceNow Agentic AI & AI Agent Studio Experience

Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring and deploying ServiceNow AI Agents and agentic workflows using AI Agent Studio.

Candidate should understand agent configuration, agent instructions, business objectives, triggers, tools, knowledge/data sources, agent execution and lifecycle management. 2. Now Assist & Generative AI Expertise

Hands-on knowledge of Now Assist, Generative AI and AI-driven ServiceNow capabilities, with the ability to identify suitable enterprise use cases and convert them into reliable AI-enabled workflows.

Should understand how Generative AI and AI agents can be combined with existing ServiceNow workflows, enterprise knowledge and automation to improve service management processes. 3. ServiceNow Platform Development Skills

Strong ServiceNow development knowledge including JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, REST APIs and IntegrationHub.

Candidate should be capable of developing reusable tools/actions that AI agents can invoke and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications and external systems.

4. AI Agent Testing,



Troubleshooting & Optimization

Solid experience testing and troubleshooting AI agents and agentic workflows, including evaluation of agent execution, tool selection, workflow behavior, response quality and failures.

5. AI Security, Governance & Responsible AI

Good understanding of enterprise AI security, governance, access control, data privacy and responsible AI principles.

Candidate should understand security considerations around prompts, sensitive information, tool permissions and agent access. ServiceNow's current AI Agent Studio documentation identifies capabilities such as AI Guardian, prompt-injection protection and offensiveness detection as part of its AI-agent security controls.

1. AI Agent Orchestration & Multi-Agent Workflows

Experience designing scenarios where multiple specialized AI agents collaborate to complete complex business processes.

Knowledge of AI Agent Orchestrator / multi-agent orchestration, including delegation and coordination between agents, is highly desirable. ServiceNow describes AI Agent Orchestrator as a capability for coordinating teams of specialized AI agents across tasks, systems and departments.

2. ServiceNow Domain Experience

Functional and technical experience in one or more modules such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM or SecOps.

Ability to identify high-value agentic AI use cases within incident, request, employee, customer-service or operational workflows is desirable.

3. Enterprise Integration & API Experience

Experience integrating ServiceNow AI solutions with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server and enterprise integration patterns.

Exposure to external AI/LLM services, enterprise knowledge systems and API-driven automation would be advantageous.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Design, develop, configure and implement ServiceNow AI Agents and agentic workflows to automate complex enterprise business processes.

Work with business and technical stakeholders to identify Agentic AI opportunities, define agent objectives, tools, instructions, triggers, knowledge/data requirements and expected outcomes.

Integrate AI agents with ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, APIs, enterprise data sources and external applications while following appropriate security controls.

Test, troubleshoot and optimize AI-agent executions. Analyze logs, failed tool executions and workflow behavior and improve agent reliability, accuracy, performance and maintainability.

Establish development standards and governance for enterprise Agentic AI implementations. Prepare technical designs, solution documentation, test evidence and deployment/runbook documentation and provide technical guidance to project teams.
