Role Description
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) or a Non CA candidate with 4+ years of post-qualification experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in taxation, with a particular focus on cross-border taxation and Canadian tax filings(T1).
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an international business environment and ensuring compliance with Canadian and international tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee cross-border tax filling, with a primary focus on Canada.
- Prepare, review,
and coordinate Canadian tax returns and related filings.
- Support international tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities as required in India or Canada.
- Monitor changes in Canadian tax laws.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, regulatory filings and financial reports.
- Conduct tax reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Identify tax optimization opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist in audits, due diligence exercises, and financial reviews.
Required Qualification
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (not mandatory)
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Canada T1 filing.
- Experience handling international taxation, cross-border transactions or overseas tax compliance.
- Exposure to Canadian tax filings or working with Canadian entities is preferred.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex tax matters.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions.
- Continuous improvement of finance and compliance processes.
