Role Description The System Administrator – IT Lab Creation will join Koenig’s Data Centre team and be responsible for creating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting technical lab environments used for IT training and delivery.

The role involves building and managing labs across infrastructure, virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, servers, and OEM technologies, including Nutanix, Veeam, NVIDIA, Infor, and Synti. The System Administrator will ensure that lab environments are properly configured, documented, tested, and available ahead of scheduled training sessions.

Responsibilities also include troubleshooting infrastructure, connectivity, configuration,



and availability issues; monitoring lab environments; maintaining technical documentation and configuration records; and collaborating with internal technical and training teams to translate course requirements into reliable lab environments. The role will also leverage automation and AI tools to improve lab creation, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should have 3–8 years of relevant experience in system administration, infrastructure administration, lab administration, data centre operations, or a related technical setting.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in creating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT training labs or technical lab environments.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and system administration, including servers, operating environments, networking, storage, and related infrastructure technologies.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and a good understanding of virtualized infrastructure and lab environments.
- Candidates should have a good understanding of cloud platforms, networking, servers, and data centre technologies,



with the ability to work across different infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Nutanix, Veeam, NVIDIA, Infor, and Synti technologies is preferred.
- Candidates should have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve configuration, connectivity, infrastructure, and lab availability issues.
- Candidates should be able to build and configure lab environments according to specific technical and training requirements, ensuring readiness before scheduled training delivery.
- Candidates should be capable of monitoring lab environments, proactively identifying technical issues, and maintaining consistency, reliability, and availability across lab setups.
- Candidates should have experience maintaining technical documentation, configuration records, procedures, and lab setup information.
- Experience supporting IT training environments, technical labs, or multi-technology infrastructure environments will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable using or learning automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lab management.
- Familiarity with AI-based tools for automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational efficiency will be preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, training, and internal support teams.
- Candidates should be flexible and capable of adapting to new technologies, OEM platforms, and changing lab configurations based on training requirements.
