Role Description The Student Mentor and Assessment Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves mentoring students through regular one-on-one and group sessions, helping them with career planning, personal development, and academic growth. The Mentor and Assessment Lead designs and administers assessments to track progress in skills, values, and leadership capabilities, and uses the results to create individualized learning plans.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating workshops, documenting student development, collaborating with faculty on curriculum alignment, and providing feedback to learners and families.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records, contributing to continuous improvement of mentoring and assessment frameworks, and supporting institute events and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Ability to mentor students in career guidance, personal development, and holistic growth.
- Experience designing, conducting, and interpreting assessments for skills, values, and learning outcomes.
- Strong communication, counseling, and active listening abilities to engage with diverse learners.
- Skill in planning and facilitating workshops, group activities, and leadership training programs.
- Comfort with basic educational technology tools and data management for tracking student progress.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with students or young adults in an educational or coaching setting.
- Interest in integrating traditional wisdom with modern educational practices and innovation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Tamil or other regional languages is an advantage.
