Role Description This full-time Structural Engineer role at NOVARCH CONSULTANTS is an on-site position based in New Delhi.

The Structural

Engineer will perform detailed structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, compliance with codes, and cost-effectiveness. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design calculations, reviewing drawings, coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders, and supporting the development of structural systems from concept through construction.



The role also involves using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, preparing technical documentation and reports, participating in design reviews, and assisting with value engineering and problem-solving during project execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering for building and infrastructure design.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations to ensure secure and efficient structural systems.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for preparing and reviewing structural drawings and models.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and seismic design requirements.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and building services engineers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD, SAP2000 or similar) is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and prior experience in consultancy or building design projects are advantageous.
