We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with technical standards, managing project timelines, and able to handle client energetic requirement during proposal & engineering stage.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical systems, control & power circuits, and components for various projects
- Review and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements
- Design and engineering of MCC (Motor Control Centers) and PCC (Power Control Centers)
- Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, and schematics for electrical panels
- Work on LV (Low Voltage) and MV (Medium Voltage) switchgear selection, sizing, and application
- Design and integration of E-House (Electrical House / Modular Substation) systems
- Develop E-House layouts, equipment placement, cable routing, and HVAC considerations
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and HVAC teams for E-House design and installation
- Ensure proper integration of switchgear, transformers, UPS, and control systems within E-House
- Review E-House structural, earthing, lighting, fire protection, and ventilation systems
- Ensure design and manufacturing compliance with applicable IEC standards, including:
- IEC 61439 –
- Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies (MCC/PCC)




- IEC 60947 –
- Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear
- IEC 62271 –
- Medium-voltage switchgear and controlgear
- IEC 60529 –
- IP protection ratings
- IEC 60076 –
- Power transformers
- Perform load calculations, short-circuit calculations, and system studies
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluation and vendor approvals
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during design, installation, and commissioning
- Conduct site visits, inspections, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6–10+ years of experience in electrical design and project execution
- Strong hands-on experience in MCC, PCC panels and switchgear selection
- Experience in E-House / Modular Substation design, engineering, or integration
- Good knowledge of protection systems, relays, and power distribution networks
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar

Added Skills

- Knowledge of IEC 60079 –
- Electrical equipment for hazardous areas (Ex-rated equipment)
- Experience in EPC / industrial / oil & gas / infrastructure projects
- Exposure to panel manufacturing or modular substation projects
- Experience in handling client Specifications ADNOC &
- Saudi Aramco specifications and AVL requirements
- Project management and execution experience
- Knowledge on Type Test Certification procedure & implementation of Panels (MCC or PCC)
- Knowledge on Compliance requirement of Panel Certification like TAQA, DEWA, UL, CE, ATEX / IECEx, IEC 61439 -1/2.
