Designation: Sr. Business Analyst

Experience: 2 – 4 years, Experience in B2C Fintech, Mutual Fund or BFSI experience.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst at FundsIndia to turn investor data into growth and retention decisions. You will own analytics end to end, from framing the problem and querying data to building dashboards and driving recommendations, working closely with product, marketing, operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate insights across D2C, Private Wealth and Partner verticals, and work with product, marketing, operations and tech to drive growth, retention and AUM.
- Query and analyse customer, transaction and SIP data using SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs).
- Define and track KPIs across onboarding, activation, retention and AUM.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in a BI tool.
- Run funnel, cohort and churn analyses, and present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Design, run and measure A/B tests and marketing campaigns.
- Write business requirements and support UAT with product and tech teams.
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders and leadership in straightforward, decision-ready language.

Must Have (Skills/Exposures/Certifications)

- Query and analyse customer, transaction and SIP data using SQL (mandatory)




- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in both Power BI and Tableau (mandatory)
- Define and track KPIs across onboarding, activation, retention and AUM
- Run funnel, cohort and churn analyses and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Write requirements and support UAT with product and tech teams
- Design and measure A/B tests and campaigns
- Own recurring reporting and ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards

Good To Have

- Python or R for analysis and automation
- Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Big Query or Redshift
- Understanding of mutual funds, SIPs and investor behaviour

Is This You?

- B.Tech / B.E. from a Tier 1 institute (e.g. IITs, IIM, BITS, NITs)
- Min 2-4 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst, with a strong academic and professional track record
- Hands-on, advanced SQL: joins, window functions and CTEs on large datasets (mandatory)
- Working proficiency in both Power BI and Tableau (mandatory)
- Strong quantitative aptitude and structured problem solving
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and mentor junior analysts
