Role Description The Sr Audit Executive role at VirtuAxel is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysore. This role involves planning and executing audit assignments for tax and compliance-related matters, including reviewing books of accounts, verification of supporting documentation, and ensuring adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.

The Sr Audit

Executive will analyze financial records, identify discrepancies, prepare audit reports, and recommend corrective actions to enhance accuracy and compliance. The role also includes coordinating with clients and internal teams, supporting tax return preparation and filings, and contributing to process improvements in audit and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of taxation, audit procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GST, TDS, income tax regulations).




- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement analysis.
- Ability to review documentation, perform reconciliations, and prepare clear, structured audit reports.
- Competence with accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, semi-qualified CA, or equivalent commerce/finance degree.
- Prior experience in audit or tax consultancy, preferably in a firm or corporate environment.
