Role Purpose The Specifications Manager will be responsible for driving product specifications, architect and interior designer engagement, project conversions and business development for Merino’s portfolio.

The role will focus on building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, builders, developers, contractors and other project influencers to ensure Merino products are specified and adopted across residential, commercial and institutional projects.

1. Architect & Interior Designer Engagement

- Identify and develop relationships with key architects, interior designers, design studios and consultants.
- Identify high-potential A/IDs and build long-term professional relationships.
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned architects and interior designers.
- Conduct regular meetings, studio presentations, product presentations and focused engagements.
- Organize architect meets, workshops, exhibitions,



plant visits and other engagement activities.
- Keep architects, designers and their teams updated on Merino's latest products, designs, finishes and applications.

2. Product Specification

- Drive specification of Merino products across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail and institutional projects.
- Understand project requirements, design intent, material preferences and technical specifications.
- Recommend appropriate Merino products based on project requirements.
- Facilitate product samples, folders, catalogues and technical information.
- Ensure Merino products are included in project BOQs, material specifications and design selections wherever relevant.
- Track specifications from initial recommendation through project closure.

3. Project Identification & Business Development

- Identify upcoming projects through architects, interior designers, consultants, builders and developers.
- Develop and maintain a solid project pipeline.
- Generate project leads through the A/ID network and convert specifications into business opportunities.
- Meet direct customers and project stakeholders wherever required to support closure.
- Coordinate with project sales and channel teams for successful conversion.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and increasing Merino product penetration.
