We are looking for a Freelance Spanish Language Expert to support the development and optimization of a Spanish-speaking conversational voice application built using Google CCAI. The role will focus on validating Spanish language quality, speech recognition, conversational flows, and real-world caller interactions. The ideal candidate should have strong spoken and written Spanish skills, understand regional and conversational nuances, and be able to provide practical feedback to improve the overall Spanish-speaking customer experience.

This is a part-time freelance engagement requiring approximately 3 hours per day, with the engagement expected to continue through the 2nd week of February

Key Responsibilities:

- Validate Spanish voice interactions to ensure accurate understanding of natural Spanish conversations.
- Evaluate pronunciation, accents, regional variations, speaking styles, and common conversational patterns.
- Validate accurate recognition and capture of Spanish names, addresses, dates, phone numbers, SSNs, and other alphanumeric information.
- Conduct real-world Spanish conversational scenarios and identify gaps in understanding, responses, or conversational context.
- Validate scenarios such as interruptions, requests to repeat or wait, corrections, incomplete information, mid-call disconnects, background noise, different speaking speeds, and Spanish-English code switching.
- Review Spanish conversational flows and identify unnatural,



unclear, incorrect, or culturally inappropriate wording.
- Recommend natural and contextually appropriate Spanish responses and phrasing.
- Review conversation transcripts and identify recurring language, speech recognition, or conversational issues.
- Support optimization and validation of baseline Spanish conversational flows.
- Support client-led UAT by creating and executing Spanish-specific conversational scenarios.
- Review language-related defects and validate fixes following updates to the conversational flow.
- Provide regular feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the Spanish conversational experience.

Qualifications

- Native or near-native Spanish language proficiency with solid spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational nuances.
- Ability to understand and evaluate different Spanish accents and regional variations.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to linguistic detail and ability to identify subtle language or conversational issues.
- Ability to clearly explain language-related observations and provide actionable recommendations.




- Experience in Spanish translation, interpretation, linguistics, localization, or language consulting is preferred.
- Comfortable working remotely with product and engineering teams.
