We are building the social presence of Bits & Studios almost from scratch.

And we are looking for someone who wants to build it with us.

Not simply manage it.

Not just maintain a content calendar.

Not wait for photographs, briefs and captions to arrive.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. The overall social media presence of Bits & Studios
2. Content strategy and direction
3. Ideas for Reels, posts, stories and recurring content formats
4. Finding stories inside the MakerSpace rather than waiting for briefs
5. Scripting and developing content concepts
6. Shooting photographs and videos independently
7. Editing Reels and short form content
8. Writing captions, hooks and social copy
9. Publishing across Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
10. Building and maintaining a recognisable brand voice and visual language
11. Understanding what is working, what is not and continually improving the content
12. Helping us turn a relatively new page into a strong and distinctive brand presence

Social media and content are at the heart of this role. If you also understand performance marketing, thats an addon consider that the cherry on top.

We are looking for someone who can genuinely own the page and the entire content cycle.

Someone who can walk into our MakerSpace, understand what is happening, notice what is interesting, find the story, decide how it should be told, shoot it,



edit it, write it, publish it and learn from how people respond.

Because there are stories unfolding here every day.xa A child trying to make a robot move.

A mechanism failing for the fifth time before finally working.

A strange prototype taking shape on a workbench.

A conversation between two children trying to solve a problem.

A mentor asking exactly the right question.

A beautiful object being made.

An experiment that did not work.

An idea about education worth talking about.

Or a moment that nobody else thought was content until you saw it.

That ability to notice is important to us.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone with robust taste and judgement.

Someone who understands the internet, but does not blindly follow every trend.

Someone who knows the difference between content that merely looks polished and content that actually makes people stop, watch, think, save, share or remember.

Someone who understands storytelling.

Someone who can recognise the beginning, tension and payoff inside an ordinary moment.

Someone who understands hooks, pacing, framing, editing and copy.

Someone who is comfortable picking up a phone or camera and creating.





Someone who can take an idea from a rough thought to a finished post without needing five people in between.

Someone who experiments.

Someone who looks at what worked, asks why and gets better.

Someone who can take ownership without needing a detailed brief for every Reel.

You may currently be working in education, EdTech, design, lifestyle, media, a creative agency, a startup or a completely different category. We are not fixated on where you come from.

We care much more about what you have actually built.

Have you helped build or grow a social media account?

Created a content property from scratch?

Introduced a format that became recognisable for a brand?

Taken an account from ordinary to genuinely interesting?
