Role Summary

Signify Wood is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate project execution at various sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth site operations, quality execution, timely completion, material coordination, and effective communication between clients, contractors, architects, and the internal project team.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor daily site activities and project execution.

- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, interior designers, vendors, and project managers.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify execution-related issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly site progress reports.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
- Take accurate site measurements and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and inventory at project sites.
- Manage and coordinate labour and contractors for smooth execution.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during site execution.




- Ensure proper communication between the site team and office/project management team.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Monitor project timelines and assist in controlling delays and additional costs.
- Visit multiple project sites as per project requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of site execution and construction/interior work.

- Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Good knowledge of site measurements and material handling.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, labour, and vendors.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Basic understanding of quality control and safety practices.
- Ability to handle multiple sites and work independently.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Experience

- Fresher to 1+ years of relevant site engineering experience.

- Candidates with experience in construction, interiors, furniture, modular work, flooring, or related project execution will be preferred.

Additional Requiremenrt

- Candidate must have a personal bike for regular site visits and local travel.

- Willingness to travel between project sites within and around Indore.
- Flexible working hours based on project and site requirements.
