Role Description The Senior Stress Engineer role at Cyient is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves performing detailed stress and structural analysis for aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting calculations and simulations, reviewing and optimizing design engineering solutions, preparing technical documentation and reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as design, manufacturing, and quality.





The Senior Stress

Engineer will also support design reviews, investigate structural issues, recommend corrective actions, and mentor junior engineers on stress analysis methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Stress Analysis and Structural Analysis for aerospace or aircraft structures.
- Experience in Design Engineering, including collaboration with design teams to validate and optimize structural concepts.
- Ability to perform accurate engineering Calculations, including hand calculations and use of analytical tools.
- Background in Aircraft structures, materials, and industry standards or regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience with relevant CAE/FEA tools and software (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS, or similar) and CAD integration.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, on-site setting.
- Experience in a global engineering services or aerospace environment is an advantage.
