Junior Officer – Marketing & Operations | Bangalore

Job Summary-

We are looking for a Junior Officer – Marketing & Operations to support day-to-day branch banking operations while contributing to customer acquisition and business development. The role involves handling clerical and branch banking activities, assisting customers with various banking services, processing transactions, and achieving assigned marketing and business targets.

Key Responsibilities-

Marketing & Business Development

- Source leads and develop prospects for recent customers.
- Promote and sell banking products and services, including third-party products.
- Achieve assigned marketing and business targets.
- Participate in bank campaigns, business drives, and other initiatives to support branch goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Branch Operations

- Assist customers with account opening and guide them through relevant banking systems and processes.
- Facilitate branch banking transactions through both physical and digital channels.
- Process and enter customer transactions accurately into the bank's systems.
- Handle operational activities related to Accounts, Clearing, Cash,



Term Deposits, Demat, Lockers, Loans, and Digital Banking.
- Maintain required books of accounts, registers, and branch records.
- Assist with loan-related documentation, including maintaining relevant registers and issuing notices/reminders for overdue payments.
- Generate interest certificates and perform other routine banking documentation activities.
- Handle cashier-related responsibilities and maintain records such as the torn/soiled notes register and key exchange register.
- Perform inward and outward clearing activities, including cheque acceptance, verification, stamping, recording, scheduling, and dispatch.
- Ensure cheques received for collection are processed within the applicable clearing cycle.
- Reconcile and maintain records of inward and outward clearing transactions.
- Handle returned/unpaid cheques and complete the required follow-up and documentation.
- Support front-office, recovery, and other branch functions as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Branch Manager or senior management within the scope of the role.
