Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Service/Sales Engineer role based in Kolkata. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining scientific research equipment at customer sites, including troubleshooting technical issues and performing preventive maintenance.

The Senior

Service/Sales Engineer will engage with customers to understand technical requirements, prepare proposals, demonstrate equipment, and support the sales team in closing opportunities. Daily activities include responding to service requests,



coordinating with internal teams and OEMs, documenting service activities, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The role also includes training end users on equipment operation, maintaining solid customer relationships, and providing feedback to improve products and services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills for handling technical product demonstrations, proposals, and opportunity management.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Customer Service skills for installation, troubleshooting, and after-sales service of scientific equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field) and experience with laboratory or scientific instruments is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical documentation, use diagnostic tools, and work safely with electronic and mechanical systems is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, manage multiple service and sales tasks, and work independently while collaborating within a team is beneficial.
