Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee project management activities from project inception through installation and completion. The successful candidate will provide leadership, strategic direction, project coordination, resource management, budget control, and technical oversight to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
The role requires strong experience in industrial automation, industrial furnace projects, project execution, team leadership, project planning, risk management, financial forecasting, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects from project inception, planning, engineering, procurement, execution, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
Provide leadership, supervision, direction, and coordination to the Project Management team.
Oversee project planning, execution, schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance.
Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered **on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Manage project resources and develop resource forecasts for current and future projects.
Establish, implement, and enforce project management standards, processes, methodologies, and tools.
Prepare and present bi-weekly project status reports to management.
Lead project review meetings with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project risks and implement appropriate risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and contingency plans.
Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Support supplier and client negotiations to achieve project, commercial, schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
Review and approve department time-off requests, expense reports,
and overtime requests.
Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers and project management personnel.
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to the Project Management team.
Advise the Director of Engineering regarding project status, team performance, resource requirements, risks, and business priorities.
Provide technical and project-related feedback to Engineering teams regarding equipment performance, reliability, and improvement opportunities.
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, quality improvement, standardization, and cost reduction.
Promote and enforce company standards, best practices, and health, safety, and environmental requirements
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field preferred.
PMP Certification required/preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Industrial Automation or a related industrial environment.
Minimum 6 years of experience in the Industrial Furnace Industry.
Proven experience successfully managing large-scale projects valued at $50M and above.
Experience managing projects through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
Experience in preparing project financial forecasts, resource forecasts, schedules, and management reports.
Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, furnace, or EPC environment is highly preferred.
