Role Description The Senior Financial Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with applicable standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

The role also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights for management decisions, coordinating with auditors and tax advisors, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and related financial systems to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting financial information, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decisions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- CA Inter pass candidates are welcome to apply.
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or jewellery sectors.
- Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
