Role Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role involves leading the design and development of electrical systems for commercial and residential projects, including power distribution, lighting, and related building services. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical designs and drawings, performing load calculations, coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The engineer will review and validate designs produced by team members,



support clients and architects with technical queries, and contribute to value engineering and sustainable design solutions. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, maintaining design documentation, and supporting project managers in meeting schedule and quality objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for building services.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution systems, including load calculations and panel schedules.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
- Experience with commercial and residential MEP projects and familiarity with applicable codes and standards is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to quality and timely delivery.
