Role Description The Senior Engineer role at Deepak Chem Tech Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara.

The Senior

Engineer will oversee day-to-day plant operations, monitor process parameters, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing production processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting implementation of new technologies or equipment. The role involves preparing technical documentation, reports, and operational procedures, as well as mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

The Senior

Engineer will also contribute to cost optimization, reliability improvements,



and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in chemical or mechanical engineering principles, including process design, equipment operation, and plant safety.
- Experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing environments, with exposure to large-scale production and process optimization.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures, and translate them into practical actions.
- Proficiency in using engineering and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, basic CAD or simulation software) for analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Robust communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with operations, maintenance, quality, and safety teams.
- Experience in applying safety, health, and environmental regulations and industry best practices in daily operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory engineering role, including team guidance and training, is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vadodara and be available for plant-related operational support as needed.
