About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Career Counsellor to join our team in Hyderabad and work with one of the premium schools in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Psychology, hands-on experience in career counselling and psychometric assessments, and a good understanding of CBSE, IB, and Cambridge curricula.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about helping students make informed decisions about their academic and career journeys.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one career counselling and guidance to students, primarily from Grades 9–12.
- Conduct and interpret psychometric, aptitude, interest, personality, and career assessments.
- Explain psychometric assessment results to students and parents and convert insights into meaningful career recommendations.
- Help students identify their strengths, interests, skills, personality traits, and suitable career pathways.
- Guide students on subject and stream selection, undergraduate courses, entrance examinations, colleges, and career options.
- Develop personalised career action plans based on students' interests, abilities, and assessment results.
- Conduct counselling sessions with students and parents and address their academic and career-related concerns.
- Organise and conduct career awareness sessions, workshops, and presentations for students and parents.
- Maintain accurate counselling records, student profiles, assessment reports, and progress updates.
- Stay updated on career trends, higher education opportunities,



universities, entrance examinations, and emerging career options.
- Work closely with school management, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective career guidance delivery.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents and ensure a positive counselling experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in career counselling, school counselling, student counselling, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in career counselling and psychometric assessments.
- Ability to administer, interpret, and explain psychometric test results and translate them into meaningful career recommendations.
- Strong understanding of CBSE, IB, and Cambridge curricula is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of career pathways, higher education options, colleges, entrance examinations, and emerging career opportunities.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, teachers, and school management.
- Empathetic, patient, approachable, and student-focused personality.
- Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple counselling sessions effectively.
