Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for a Senior Bridge Design Engineer. The role involves leading the design and analysis of bridges and related structures, including preparation of detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

The Senior Bridge Design

Engineer will review and validate designs produced by junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients and stakeholders, performing structural assessments, supporting design reviews, and ensuring that project deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to design optimization, and supporting tender and bid documentation when required.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in structural and bridge engineering design, including analysis of concrete and steel structures using recognized design codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (such as structural analysis tools and CAD platforms) and be able to produce clear, accurate engineering drawings and documentation.
- Candidates should possess project coordination and leadership skills, including the ability to manage workloads, guide junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address complex design challenges and optimize bridge designs for safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports, design notes, and client presentations, as well as participating in design reviews and meetings.
- Candidates should possess a recognized engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent) and relevant professional experience in bridge design; professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of national and international bridge design codes, construction methodologies, and quality and safety standards, with experience on infrastructure and industrial projects considered beneficial.
