About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Appian-based enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide development teams in delivering scalable, high-quality process automation solutions aligned with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

- Build Appian applications including interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, and integrations.
- Work extensively with Appian object types, query rules, constant rules, and expression rules.
- Guide Appian developers within the delivery team and ensure adherence to design, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of Appian-based solutions.
- Perform impact analysis and application performance management activities.
- Design and optimize SQL queries for accessing data from database tables and views.
- Analyze, design, and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, queries, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services, and web services.
- Design technical solutions and lead small development teams.
- Conduct workshops and break down epics into user stories.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into Appian solutions.
- Develop reusable and modularized components to improve scalability and maintainability.
- Implement Appian development best practices and governance standards.





Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Appian development and implementation.
- Strong expertise in Appian object types, query rules, expression rules, constant rules, and application architecture.
- Experience designing and developing process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design concepts.
- Strong understanding of Appian integration services, APIs, and web services.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade workflow automation and business process management solutions.
- Ability to perform application impact analysis, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience leading and mentoring Appian development teams.
- Strong expertise in technical solution design and application architecture.
- Experience conducting requirement workshops, backlog refinement, and user story creation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery practices.
- Knowledge of Appian deployment, testing, release management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience building reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and project teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
