Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Semi Qualified Company Secretary role based in Chennai. The role involves assisting in corporate secretarial compliance, including preparation and filing of statutory forms, maintenance of registers and records, and support for board and shareholder meetings.

Secretary will help draft agendas, minutes, resolutions, and corporate documents, and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and legal advisors on governance and regulatory matters. The role includes monitoring changes in company law and securities regulations, supporting due diligence and transaction documentation, and contributing to internal process improvements and documentation standardization.
The individual will also assist senior team members in client-facing work, reporting, and ensuring timely completion of secretarial assignments for multiple entities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong company law, securities law, and corporate governance knowledge, with semi qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (CS Executive passed or equivalent).
- Candidates should possess skills in drafting agendas, minutes, resolutions, notices, and corporate agreements, with attention to detail and explicit written communication.
- Candidates should possess experience in statutory filings, maintenance of secretarial records, and compliance tracking using MCA and related regulatory portals.
- Candidates should possess the ability to conduct legal and regulatory research, interpret updates, and prepare concise compliance notes and summaries.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using technology-driven tools or compliance/automation platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess professional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, auditors, and advisors.
- Prior internship or work experience in a PCS firm, corporate secretarial department, or consulting environment is beneficial; familiarity with finance or investment transactions is an added advantage.
