Role Description The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and onboarding current restaurant partners in Chennai, building strong relationships, and driving platform adoption. This full-time, on-site role involves conducting sales meetings and presentations, negotiating terms, and ensuring a smooth merchant onboarding process.

The Sales

Executive will monitor partner performance, gather feedback, and work with internal teams to improve offerings and resolve issues. Daily activities include prospecting, maintaining an updated sales pipeline, preparing reports, and representing PICKUPY at local events or industry gatherings as needed.





Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in food tech, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills to engage effectively with restaurant owners and managers.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, conduct field visits, and manage a dynamic schedule across multiple client locations.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, mobile apps, and basic CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and partner performance.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet sales targets, analyze performance data, and propose improvements.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, with adaptability, initiative, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.
- Proficiency in English and local languages used in Chennai, with a professional, inclusive, and customer-centric approach.
