Role Description The Sales Associate Intern will work full time on-site at our Mumbai location, supporting sales and daily store operations.

Responsibilities include cold calling, visiting potential clients, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products such as mattresses, pillows, and rexine. The role also involves handling inquiries, coordinating with staff, the founders, and learning store processes and product features. This position offers hands-on exposure to retail and wholesale sales, customer service,



and merchandising in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and explain product features clearly.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including comfort with recommending products and supporting upselling and cross-selling activities.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail for maintaining store displays, inventory sections, and accurate records.
- Comfort working in a retail showroom environment, including standing for extended periods and engaging with walk-in customers.
- Fluency in English and local languages commonly spoken in Mumbai; robust interpersonal skills when dealing with diverse customers.
- Interest in retail, furnishings, or home comfort products; prior customer-facing experience or internship in sales or retail is an advantage.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Mumbai, follow guidance from senior team members, and learn quickly in a structured setting.
