RFMW Innovations Lab Pvt. Ltd. is a Bangalore-based technology company specializing in RF & microwave systems for the defence sector. We design, build, and test mission-critical electronic and RF subsystems for India's defence and aerospace ecosystem.

We are looking for an RF Test Engineer to carry out testing, measurement, and validation of RF/microwave components, subsystems, and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RF test equipment, strong fundamentals in RF/microwave theory, and the ability to troubleshoot issues through to root cause.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, performance, and environmental testing of RF/microwave components, modules, and assemblies as per test plans and specifications
- Operate and calibrate RF test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters
- Develop and execute test procedures (ATP/ATR) and document test results, deviations, and non-conformances
- Debug and troubleshoot RF circuit/module failures, working with Design and Production teams to resolve root causes
- Support environmental and reliability testing (temperature, vibration, humidity) in coordination with the Quality team
- Prepare test reports, data sheets, and calibration records in line with ISO 9001:2015 and customer quality requirements




- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test setups/scripts to improve test throughput and repeatability
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams to resolve test failures and support design validation
- Maintain test equipment calibration schedules and ensure lab safety and 5S compliance

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in RF/microwave testing, preferably in defence, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing
- Strong understanding of RF/microwave fundamentals (S-parameters, VSWR, gain, noise figure, insertion loss, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other RF test instruments
- Working knowledge of test automation (LabVIEW, Python, or similar) is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret RF schematics, datasheets, and test specifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 documentation and quality processes
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Design, Production, and Quality teams
