As a QA Tester, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the Athena Master Reference Data Platform, with a primary focus on designing and implementing automated testing plans. You will be responsible for designing and executing rigorous testing strategies for data pipelines, integration points, and platform functionality to ensure that master data remains a "single source of truth" for the organisation. integration, and end-to-end regression testing.

•Develop and maintain automated test scripts specifically for data validation, ensuringETL processes and data transformations meet business logic requirements.

•Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to provide immediate feedbackon platform stability and data quality.

•Collaborate with developers to define "Definition of Done" criteria and ensureautomated test coverage for all new platform features and bug fixes.

•Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for master dataworkflows and ETL processes.

•Perform deep-dive data validation using SQL to ensure data consistency, quality, andtransformation accuracy across environments.

•Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to identify, document, and track defectswithin the Athena ecosystem.

•Build and maintain automated regression test suites to support continuous integrationand delivery (CI/CD)

Requirements

•4-5 years’ experience•4-5 years’ experience in developing automated testing frameworks for data-centricplatforms (using Python, PyTest or Outstanding Expectations)•Solid proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis, validation, and backendtesting.•Proven experience in testing Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Dataplatforms or large-scale data warehouse environments.•Proven track record of implementing automated testing plans with Azure DevOps,GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD environments•Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium,or Robot Framework) and Azure DevOps/Jira for defect management.•Familiarity with Kafka / streaming data validation•Exposure to OpenSearch / Elasticsearch for data validation and querying•Experience with MDM platforms (Reltio preferred)
