Role Description The Proposal Engineer role at Memfill Tech Private Limited is a full-time, hybrid position based in Karaikudi and Chennai.

The Proposal

Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, including solution design, cost estimation, and documentation aligned with client specifications and internal standards. Day-to-day tasks include analysing tenders and RFQs, coordinating with engineering, sales, and procurement teams to gather necessary inputs, and developing clear, accurate proposal content and pricing.



The role involves reviewing technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements, and supporting negotiations by providing technical clarifications.

The Proposal

Engineer will also maintain proposal templates, contribute to process improvements, and support business development activities through timely and high-quality proposal submissions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong proposal preparation and proposal writing skills for technical and commercial submissions.
- Candidates should possess electrical engineering knowledge, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and system designs.
- Candidates should possess sales-related skills, including client communication, understanding of customer requirements, and support for business development.
- Candidates should possess procurement-related skills, such as vendor coordination, cost gathering, and basic contract understanding.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
- Beneficial skills include experience with water/wastewater treatment or process-engineering systems, familiarity with industrial or municipal projects, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Additional beneficial attributes include attention to detail, solid written and verbal communication, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and capability to manage multiple proposals under deadlines.
