Key initiatives include the Audiobook program, BeMyScribe, Ability Bazaar, and Odisha’s first Assistive Devices Library. These programs focus on improving access to learning resources, supporting daily living, and enhancing employability for people with disabilities. WE4YOU collaborates with diverse stakeholders to build a more inclusive and accessible society.

Role Description The Project Intern (Mumbai) at WE4YOU will support planning, coordination, and execution of inclusion-focused projects, while being based on-site at the Bhubaneswar office. This is a full-time role that involves assisting with project documentation, data collection, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate updates for internal and external stakeholders.

The intern will engage with beneficiaries, partners, and volunteers, helping organize workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing presentations and communication materials, supporting logistics for events,



and contributing to the improvement of program processes. The intern will work closely with project leads to monitor progress and recommend practical solutions that enhance impact.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet project timelines.
- Candidates should possess basic research and analytical skills to gather data, interpret findings, and support project reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in common office software (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools) and be comfortable learning current digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess a collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to disability inclusion and community service.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in social work, social sciences, education, management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in volunteering, internships, or projects related to non-profit work, disability inclusion, or community development is an added advantage.
