Role Description The Production Manager/Plant Head will oversee daily production operations for AOKI’s electric bicycle manufacturing facility in Noida in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, managing shop-floor teams, and ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements. The role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and logistics, and maintaining equipment and facility readiness.

The Production

Manager/Plant Head will analyze production data, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement lean practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.



This position also requires cross-functional collaboration with design, engineering, and management teams to align production targets with business goals and customer demand.

Qualifications

- Strong production and operations management skills, including experience in shop-floor supervision, production planning, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and safety standards, preferably in automotive, electric vehicles, or similar engineering-driven industries.
- Ability to implement process improvements, lean manufacturing principles, and cost-optimization strategies while maintaining product quality.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including team development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in using production management tools, ERP or inventory systems, and basic data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Relevant experience managing a plant or production unit, ideally in a quick-growing, innovation-led organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
