We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, planning and scheduling, manpower utilization, production targets, quality, and overall shop-floor operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Manage complete manufacturing operations and ensure smooth production flow.
- Develop production plans based on order requirements, capacity, manpower, and material availability.
- Monitor production progress and ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.
- Effectively plan and utilize manpower across different production activities.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and other departments for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor machine utilization, production capacity, productivity, and downtime.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
- Maintain production records, MIS reports, and performance reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.




- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and productivity and take necessary improvement measures.
- Lead and supervise production teams, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.
- Train, guide, and motivate the production team to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline on the shop floor.

Key Requirements
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Robust experience in production planning and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in managing production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, manpower planning, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
- Ability to work under production targets and tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production KPIs.
- Candidates with experience in PEB / structural steel / fabrication / engineering manufacturing will be preferred.
