Role Description The Production Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficient utilization of machines, tools, and manpower for the manufacture of spline and thread forming dies.

The Production

Engineer will plan and monitor production schedules, coordinate with design and tooling teams, and support process improvements to reduce downtime and enhance throughput. The role includes implementing and maintaining quality control standards, conducting root-cause analysis for production issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures.

and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Engineer is expected to get his/her hands dirty by working on machines to solve problems if the situation demands it.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Production Engineering skills, with knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and dies.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for problem-solving, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning abilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in inspection methods, tolerances, and process documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and shop-floor personnel.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in tool and die manufacturing, heat treatment, or similar precision engineering environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic CAD drawings, ISO/quality management systems, and safety practices in manufacturing is beneficial.
