Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary technical contact for customer engineering teams.
- Drive concept development, detailed design, and engineering change implementation for material handling products.
- Review and approve design deliverables including 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable design standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Support product localization, cost optimization, value engineering, and design standardization initiatives.
- Lead technical reviews, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities.
- Track project progress, and engineering KPIs.
- Support project estimation, planning, and customer reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best engineering practices within the team.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor engineering activities to ensure timely project execution.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- 10+ years of robust experience in mechanical design and product development within the Material Handling, Heavy Equipment,



Construction Equipment, or Industrial Machinery domains.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
- Sound knowledge of welded structures, fabricated components, sheet metal, castings, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of DFM/DFA, GD&T;, engineering calculations, and structural design principles.
- Experience in engineering change management and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with global engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team development capabilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with focus on quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
- Master's degree is desirable.
- Experience leading engineering teams in product development projects is preferred.
