Role Description The Procurement Contract Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing end-to-end procurement contracting activities that support Taxcart’s operations and vendor relationships. This role drafts, reviews, and maintains procurement contracts, including vendor agreements and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements. The specialist leads contract negotiations, coordinates with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations, and supports government procurement processes where applicable.

Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking contract lifecycles, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing procurement data for cost and risk optimization,



and identifying opportunities to improve procurement workflows and standard templates.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage Procurement Contracts and Purchase Orders, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Robust capability in Contract Negotiation, with experience collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
- Knowledge of Government Procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements relevant to public sector or regulated environments.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting contract data, assessing supplier performance, and supporting cost and risk optimization.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management in a technology, SaaS, or financial services environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software tools and standard contracting frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
