Role Description The Plant Manager – Herbal Extraction Industry is a full-time, on-site role based at our manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This role oversees day-to-day plant operations, including herbal extraction processes, production scheduling, and coordination across manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring operational performance, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, and optimizing resource utilization and equipment efficiency.

The Plant

Manager leads and develops plant staff, drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages inventory and raw material usage, and supports new product scale-up and process validation. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on operational strategy, cost control,



and capacity planning to meet customer demand and organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Management and Plant Operations, with proven experience overseeing end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Operations Management and Production Planning to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess experience in Manufacturing Operations within herbal extraction, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, or related process industries.
- Relevant skills in quality and safety management, including GMP compliance, HACCP or similar frameworks, and EHS standards.
- Solid leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and engage diverse teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in herbal extraction or botanical ingredients manufacturing, along with familiarity with industrial extraction equipment and process controls, is highly beneficial.
