Role Description The Piping Engineer role is afull-time position based in the Pune Division.

The Piping

Engineer is responsible for designing and developing piping systems for process plants, including layout preparation, equipment nozzle orientation, and routing of pipelines in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Daily activities include performing engineering calculations, preparing and reviewing piping drawings and isometrics, coordinating with process, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.



The role also involves conducting pipe stress analysis, selecting appropriate materials and components, supporting fabrication and installation teams, and resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning.

The Piping

Engineer will contribute to project planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Piping Design and Piping layout for industrial process plants.
- Candidates should possess skills in Pipe engineering, including selection of pipe materials, fittings, and components.
- Candidates should possess solid abilities in engineering Calculations and Stress Analysis for piping systems.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI) and industry best practices.
- Relevant experience with 2D/3D CAD software and piping modeling tools is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams are important.
- Experience in process industries such as distillation, evaporation, food processing, or similar sectors is an advantage.
