Role Description The PGT Physics role at Vedic Group of Institutions is a full-time, on-site position based at the Sambalpur campus. The educator will design and deliver Physics lessons for senior secondary classes, aligned with the prescribed curriculum and institutional standards.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom teaching, conducting laboratory sessions, preparing assessments, evaluating learners’ performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves mentoring students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests,



maintaining accurate academic records, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. The educator is expected to participate in school events, parent interactions, and co-curricular initiatives that support holistic development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid subject knowledge in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to senior secondary learners.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Theoretical Physics and Radiation sufficient to support advanced topics, problem-solving sessions, and exam preparation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Physics or related applied Physics domains that can enrich classroom discussions and career guidance.
- Candidates should possess effective teaching, classroom management, and communication skills, with a learner-centered approach and commitment to academic excellence.
- Master’s degree in Physics and a B.Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification) from a recognized institution is preferred; prior experience as a PGT or senior secondary Physics teacher is highly beneficial.
