Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Penetration Tester Fresher role based in the Greater Surat Area. In this role, the team member will support security assessments of applications, systems, and networks under the guidance of senior security professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with penetration tests, documenting findings, preparing transparent reports, and helping remediate identified vulnerabilities.

The role involves learning and using security tools, following defined methodologies, and staying current with emerging threats and best practices.



The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams to strengthen overall security posture and contribute to red team exercises and security reviews as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Cybersecurity and a strong interest in security testing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Application Security and be able to support secure coding and vulnerability assessment activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Red Teaming and be willing to participate in simulated attack scenarios under supervision.
- Candidates should possess skills in Reverse Engineering and Malware Analysis or show strong aptitude and willingness to develop these skills.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common security tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark) is beneficial.
- Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Industry certifications in progress or completed (e.g., CEH, Security+, eJPT) are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment are essential.
