Role Description The Nutritionist will work full time on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, collaborating closely with internal teams and farmers to optimize livestock nutrition programs. Daily responsibilities include assessing nutritional requirements, developing and reviewing feed formulations, and providing evidence-based guidance on diet plans for different livestock categories. The role involves delivering nutrition education and counseling to farmers and dealers, supporting weight management and health improvement strategies for animals, and monitoring outcomes to refine recommendations.





The Nutritionist will also contribute to product development, documentation, training materials, and quality assurance activities to ensure Nouriture’s feeds align with current nutritional standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust knowledge and practical skills in Dietetics and Nutrition.
- Candidates should possess skills in Nutritional Counseling and Nutrition Education.
- Candidates should possess experience in Weight Management strategies for livestock.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret scientific research, apply data-driven insights, and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with farmers, dealers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.
- Prior experience in livestock nutrition, feed formulation, or the animal health industry is an advantage.
