About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented MEP Project Design Manager to lead and manage MEP design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary building services projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage MEP design projects from concept, design development, and documentation through project completion.
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and other MEP services.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, resources, and design quality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and design teams.
- Identify design conflicts and coordinate timely resolution.
- Conduct design reviews, technical meetings, and project coordination meetings.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Mentor and manage junior engineers and design team members.
- Review BOQs, tender documents, technical specifications, and project-related documentation.
- Coordinate with site teams during execution and provide technical clarification whenever required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP design consultancy and project management.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
- Experience in handling large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use projects.




- Robust knowledge of relevant Indian and international codes and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant design/co-ordination software.
- Excellent project coordination, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of BIM-based MEP coordination.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong client-handling and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of project planning, design review, and quality control.

Role Description The MEP Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves leading and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) project activities from design through execution, ensuring that project requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and managing MEP drawings and submittals, coordinating with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, monitoring site progress, and resolving technical issues.

The MEP Project Manager will prepare and update project plans, track costs, support procurement of MEP systems and materials, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role also requires proactive communication, documentation, and reporting to keep clients and management informed about project status and risks.

Qualifications

- Strong Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering knowledge, including design coordination and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with Plumbing systems, installation methodologies, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Budgeting, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control.
- Experience managing and reviewing Submittals, technical documentation, and construction drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Experience in building services, commercial or residential projects, and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to work on-site, supervise contractors, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under time constraints.
- Familiarity with engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD/Revit for MEP, MS Project or equivalent).
