Role Description The MEP Project Manager – Fitouts is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fitout projects. This role oversees project planning, coordination, and execution of MEP services from design review through installation, testing, and commissioning. The MEP Project Manager will lead contractor coordination, review and approve technical submittals, monitor budgets and timelines, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Day-to-day tasks include site supervision, resolving technical issues, maintaining project documentation, and reporting progress to internal stakeholders and clients. The role also involves collaborating with architects, consultants,



and vendors to ensure that MEP systems support overall project objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, including experience with plumbing systems and MEP design and installation for fitout projects.
- Candidates should possess proven project management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination of multiple stakeholders, and delivery of projects within scope, time, and quality parameters.
- Candidates should possess budgeting and cost control skills, including the ability to prepare estimates, track expenditures, and optimize resources while maintaining project profitability.
- Candidates should possess experience in handling technical submittals, including reviewing drawings and specifications, validating compliance, and coordinating approvals with consultants and clients.
- Candidates should possess robust communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams, and to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices related to MEP and interior fitouts.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with experience managing commercial fitout projects in an on-site environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools and basic MS Office, along with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make informed decisions under time constraints, will be beneficial.
